On the morning of February 6th, 2021 (as the December 25th, 2020 of the Lunar Calendar), at the Youth Culture House, VietCredit coordinated with the Youth Workers Supporting Center (under the HCM City Communist Union) to hold a farewell ceremony “Vehicles reuniting ” for poor workers to return home towns for the occasion of Lunar New Year.
This is the second year VietCredit has sponsored the program to hand free gifts and coach tickets from Ho Chi Minh City to Thanh Hoa to 2,000 poor workers in industrial and export-processing zones in the HCMC on the occasion of the coming traditional Lunar New Year. Recipients include those workers who could not afford the fares to go back to their home towns for the Tet, the most important festival for Vietnamese who often treasure family reunion on the approach of Spring, which will come in early middle month.
At the ceremony, VietCredit’s representatives shared: “Accompanying with the HCM City Communist Union to organize free coaches is the deep humanity and high sense of social responsibility of VietCredit, as well as hoping that the workers will be multiplied and diversified in the time to come. We understand that there is no Tet as joyful as the reunion, so we want to support workers in difficult circumstances to reduce their financial burden and encourage them to have a fulfilled Tet holiday”.
